 hey everyone,


I hope everyone's week went well. mine was actually pretty good. I went on two exchanges so I got a good break if you know what I mean. 

on both my exchanges, we had such good days! we found so many new friends and our friend Dominic picked a baptismal date for March 4th! keep him in your prayers. he took a selfie with Elder Cabrera and I down below! 

recently I've been practicing my spanish and I've been able to get quite a few numbers to pass off to the spanish elders in the area. they are super pumped for all the referrals. 

we also had some fire member lessons. we went over the first vision and the spirit was so strong everytime.  

I had mlc this week too! not only did I get to see my best friend elder noah kjar, some of my most favorite missionaries slept at our apartment! I was also on an exchange when they did so it was so hype bc I got to be myself💪 

I stayed up with elder cabrera and elder kjar until 3am talking haha. so worth it.

we did service for this less active lady this week. she wanted us to move her mattress into the dumpster so she could move her friends new one in. originally, what was supposed to be 20 minutes, turned into 2 hours... on top of that, this lady's mattress had pee stains and crap all over it. I smelled like yerin after😓 only on the mission will you have the capability to go through things like that haha. 

if I were to share one scripture that sums up what I studied this week, it would be Moroni 7:48. 

it states, 
"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen."

I pray for the ability to not only become but to emulate the Savior each day. as I strive to do so, I am accompanied with His Spirit. I hope one day, when I stand before God, I may be pure like Him. 

I hope you all have that same desire! if not... pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to obtain it.

  hey everyone! I wanted to take the time and write a legit email for you all bc I've been flakey. However the work hasn't been flakey. We've had so many cool things happen! We see miracles everyday. We found this guy named Ian at Chick-fil-A one night when we were eating dinner. Since we're ysa, we have activities on the daily! Ian was able to come to activities and meet a bunch of homies! He runs a 4:06 mile!  We get to go to the temple with our friend Robert this week! He just got baptized on Christmas and we're already going to the temple so I'm so hyped for him!  We've also been finding so many people on facebook and we found this guy who came to church after one invite haha. So dope.  We did service for this state park and it was in these camp grounds. It made me probably the trunkiest I've been on my mission yet. The smell of campfire next to these beautiful mountains. MORMON FRICK

  hey everyone! to be honest. this week was just not it. I was lowkey depressed this whole week because I miss elder kjar. when you connect spiritually with someone and then it gets spread apart... it hurts. President Grisel was helpful enough to send me a quote by President Benson. He states, "sometimes we must righteously hold on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves us." this week was one of the hardest I've worked yet because it was the only thing that distracted my mourning soul.  however, it was good too! my greenie elder Lindsey is so dope. he's slow on the bike but the kid inspires me like none other. he was baptized only a year ago. his faith shows and he has that yearning to learn more all the time. big respect for this guy .  this week I yearned for what President Nelson calls "spiritual momentum." UPDATE FROM BENSON

  hello everyone!  these last couple weeks have gone so quick! we had some really cool things happen! I share a few highlights below! - Barbara picked a baptismal date for may 27th!  - we found 3 new friends last week! - we went to Sierra Vista to play frisbee  - we went to the Kartchner caverns - our youth put their mission papers in! - we had a huge service for one our friends named Joe and our whole youth came - we went fishing again - it's getting hotttt again but I'm in a car so that's a w anyways those are some cool things that are happening. nothing too crazy right now. it's already the last week of the transfer . I had a real moment this last week where I realized that the mission is coming to a close fast and I need to work even harder than I am.  here's some cool scriptures!  "And so it is on the other hand.
