AMAZON PRIME KIND OF DAY

 hey everybody!


I hope everyone had a great week! this week felt like one long day, meaning it went super fast. we taught some new people this week and it went super well.

elder kjar is probably gonna be transferred at the end of this transfer so we've been working really really hard bc we don't want to waste a moment together. everyday we were out the door around 10 am, after studies and didn't come home until our usual 9 pm. we even skipped lunch one day, oops. 

it's been such a good time. our area is doing super well right now.  it's all possible bc of the Lord. (Alma 26:12) 

the funny story of the week is that elder kjar and I were in a member lesson having a good time. Ya know, having a revelatory experience when we heard a huge crash. the member was like, "dude, I think your bike just got run over!" luckily it wasn't mine, however my companion is bikeless. the funny thing is, it was an Amazon truck! and the dude tried to drive away!! we chased after him and got his managers phone number and they said they'll replace it. 

another weird thing that happened was yesterday morning. we were getting ready for church and we got a call from a member saying church was canceled. we were like what even. apparently somebody vandalized the church and so they canceled all the wards that meet in the stake center building. us elders, being curious, went and looked and sadly the whole building was in terrible shape. people got in and spray painted the paintings, walls, and the pulpit. they broke windows, ripped up couches and chairs, dosed the whole sacrament room with a powder and so much more. we all had such a deep pit in our stomach when we walked in. it was pretty sad. 

anyways, Tina invited her grandson over for lessons and he wants to be baptized so we're going to ask him this week! if it be according to  the Lord's will.

  hey everyone! I wanted to take the time and write a legit email for you all bc I've been flakey. However the work hasn't been flakey. We've had so many cool things happen! We see miracles everyday. We found this guy named Ian at Chick-fil-A one night when we were eating dinner. Since we're ysa, we have activities on the daily! Ian was able to come to activities and meet a bunch of homies! He runs a 4:06 mile!  We get to go to the temple with our friend Robert this week! He just got baptized on Christmas and we're already going to the temple so I'm so hyped for him!  We've also been finding so many people on facebook and we found this guy who came to church after one invite haha. So dope.  We did service for this state park and it was in these camp grounds. It made me probably the trunkiest I've been on my mission yet. The smell of campfire next to these beautiful mountains. MORMON FRICK

  hey everyone! to be honest. this week was just not it. I was lowkey depressed this whole week because I miss elder kjar. when you connect spiritually with someone and then it gets spread apart... it hurts. President Grisel was helpful enough to send me a quote by President Benson. He states, "sometimes we must righteously hold on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves us." this week was one of the hardest I've worked yet because it was the only thing that distracted my mourning soul.  however, it was good too! my greenie elder Lindsey is so dope. he's slow on the bike but the kid inspires me like none other. he was baptized only a year ago. his faith shows and he has that yearning to learn more all the time. big respect for this guy .  this week I yearned for what President Nelson calls "spiritual momentum." UPDATE FROM BENSON

  hello everyone!  these last couple weeks have gone so quick! we had some really cool things happen! I share a few highlights below! - Barbara picked a baptismal date for may 27th!  - we found 3 new friends last week! - we went to Sierra Vista to play frisbee  - we went to the Kartchner caverns - our youth put their mission papers in! - we had a huge service for one our friends named Joe and our whole youth came - we went fishing again - it's getting hotttt again but I'm in a car so that's a w anyways those are some cool things that are happening. nothing too crazy right now. it's already the last week of the transfer . I had a real moment this last week where I realized that the mission is coming to a close fast and I need to work even harder than I am.  here's some cool scriptures!  "And so it is on the other hand.
