I SAW GOD TODAY

 hello everyone!

My pday got moved to Thursday this week because we had Elder McKay from the general 70 visit our mission Monday-wednesday. It was really cool. He had some great insights about the book of mormon and how to bring everyone closer to that commitment of baptism. This guy could speak with so much power to his voice. Think of Holland and you have elder McKay in a way. Something he said that was so fascinating was, "let's go out and give God something to magnify." That's so true for all of us. We all have opportunities to stand as a witness of Christ. So do it.
We were able to do some service this last Saturday which was pretty rad. It was a burned down house so the guy said clean it. Long story short, we all breathed in bad stuff and were all out of it the next day. Me and one of the zl's needed to go to the bathroom so the dude said, "I think I can turn on the water..." so I took a photo of the bathroom we almost used... it would've been perfect haha. I hope yall get I was joking.
We met a new family this week! The dad said they hated the missionaries and that he's surprised he let us in. His wife insited on being nice so God bless her. Anyway, they haven't let the missionaries in for a long time and they were lowkey mean to us but by the end, by inviting the spirit into their home, the dad asked if we could pray for them and come back! Super rad! 
We also met this other lady who is a Baptist this week. She is super kind and let us in. I shared the book of mormon with her and explained how we have similar beliefs but this is the only book that brings the full truth. I testified of the bom and the spirit was so strong, so super cool moment. 
Now I'll explain my bio. This week I was thinking how grateful I am for each day. And one of the most wonderful songs came into my head. You know it if you're a real one. It's "I saw God today" by George Strait. So go give it a listen for me please!

  hey everyone! I wanted to take the time and write a legit email for you all bc I've been flakey. However the work hasn't been flakey. We've had so many cool things happen! We see miracles everyday. We found this guy named Ian at Chick-fil-A one night when we were eating dinner. Since we're ysa, we have activities on the daily! Ian was able to come to activities and meet a bunch of homies! He runs a 4:06 mile!  We get to go to the temple with our friend Robert this week! He just got baptized on Christmas and we're already going to the temple so I'm so hyped for him!  We've also been finding so many people on facebook and we found this guy who came to church after one invite haha. So dope.  We did service for this state park and it was in these camp grounds. It made me probably the trunkiest I've been on my mission yet. The smell of campfire next to these beautiful mountains. MORMON FRICK

  hey everyone! to be honest. this week was just not it. I was lowkey depressed this whole week because I miss elder kjar. when you connect spiritually with someone and then it gets spread apart... it hurts. President Grisel was helpful enough to send me a quote by President Benson. He states, "sometimes we must righteously hold on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves us." this week was one of the hardest I've worked yet because it was the only thing that distracted my mourning soul.  however, it was good too! my greenie elder Lindsey is so dope. he's slow on the bike but the kid inspires me like none other. he was baptized only a year ago. his faith shows and he has that yearning to learn more all the time. big respect for this guy .  this week I yearned for what President Nelson calls "spiritual momentum." UPDATE FROM BENSON

  hello everyone!  these last couple weeks have gone so quick! we had some really cool things happen! I share a few highlights below! - Barbara picked a baptismal date for may 27th!  - we found 3 new friends last week! - we went to Sierra Vista to play frisbee  - we went to the Kartchner caverns - our youth put their mission papers in! - we had a huge service for one our friends named Joe and our whole youth came - we went fishing again - it's getting hotttt again but I'm in a car so that's a w anyways those are some cool things that are happening. nothing too crazy right now. it's already the last week of the transfer . I had a real moment this last week where I realized that the mission is coming to a close fast and I need to work even harder than I am.  here's some cool scriptures!  "And so it is on the other hand.
