WARRIOR MENTALITY

 hello hello,

My transfer news is... I'm going to east tucson and will be comps with Elder Kjar. I've heard he's a good, hard working Elder.
These last couple weeks have been pretty tough, but I got through them thanks to my faith in Christ. God bless Elder Alvarado and what he did teach in the ways that he could. He's a tough comp but no matter what, God puts us in situations on purpose so we can learn. I learned on what not to do. But all in all, I learned how to persevere a little better. As James E. Faust said, "Each of us must climb mountains that we have never climbed before." Or as my cousin Wyatt and I would always say, "it's a warrior mentality."
Alex Honnold said, "it's about being a warrior. It doesn't matter about the cause necessarily. This is your path and you will pursue it with excellence. You face your fears bc your goal demands it. That is the gd warrior spirit."
I went on an exchange with one of the zone leaders this week. His name is Elder Holt. He is the raddest missionary I've met yet. We grinded the whole day and I finally was able to do real missionary work in my area. I was also able to run the area so it made us very successful and not lazy like usual. There's so much potential to each area, if your comp is lazy, it can change the spirit of things. Literally.
We also did a work out with our president. He's literally a beast. We did a workout called a murph. It's 2 mile runs, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, and 300 squats. My president did it in 30ish minutes. It was a fun time.
I'm sad to be leaving some of the people in Pima but God has great things in store so all have to do is trust.
Hopefully one day I can look back to my mission and the memory of it, and be at peace that I gave it my all. And I can hear the words, "well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things." (Matthew 25:21)
I love you all and hope yall have a good week.
