ONE IN A BILLION

 hey everyone!


had a pretty long but efficient week. we picked up our new companion Elder Peterson this last Tuesday. he's really cool and it's genuinely nice to have him around. he's eager to work so I'm happy for that. it's also nice bc if you know me, I need my me time and this provides me time bc he can talk to elder bessette. 

our friend Dylan got baptized this last Saturday!! It was so awesome!

I had a pretty one in a billion miracle this week! on Facebook I had been messaging this guy named Zachary. he was showing interest in the gospel and our conversation was really good. now for a little background, his location said he lives in Tucson so I knew that I would have to pass him off to missionaries in person eventually.  get this. we're knocking doors at this apartment complex and out of all the doors to knock, we find Zachary in person. after that moment I was so joyful! after our conversation with Zachary I legit walked away and just laid on the ground bc I was so happy and the spirit was so strong. this has become another witness to me, like Moroni, that "God has not ceased to be a God of miracles." (Mormon 9:15)

to somehow describe my emotions, I will place before you a couple verses in the book of Alma, "Now the joy of Ammon was so great even that he was full; yea, he was swallowed up in the joy of his God, even to the exhausting of his strength; and he fell again to the earth. Now was not this exceeding joy? Behold, this is joy which none receiveth save it be the truly penitent and humble seeker of happiness."

I am so grateful for this work and don't ever want it to stop. God is a God of miracles and this is my testimony to you.

  hey everyone! I wanted to take the time and write a legit email for you all bc I've been flakey. However the work hasn't been flakey. We've had so many cool things happen! We see miracles everyday. We found this guy named Ian at Chick-fil-A one night when we were eating dinner. Since we're ysa, we have activities on the daily! Ian was able to come to activities and meet a bunch of homies! He runs a 4:06 mile!  We get to go to the temple with our friend Robert this week! He just got baptized on Christmas and we're already going to the temple so I'm so hyped for him!  We've also been finding so many people on facebook and we found this guy who came to church after one invite haha. So dope.  We did service for this state park and it was in these camp grounds. It made me probably the trunkiest I've been on my mission yet. The smell of campfire next to these beautiful mountains. MORMON FRICK

  hey everyone! to be honest. this week was just not it. I was lowkey depressed this whole week because I miss elder kjar. when you connect spiritually with someone and then it gets spread apart... it hurts. President Grisel was helpful enough to send me a quote by President Benson. He states, "sometimes we must righteously hold on and outlast the devil until his depressive spirit leaves us." this week was one of the hardest I've worked yet because it was the only thing that distracted my mourning soul.  however, it was good too! my greenie elder Lindsey is so dope. he's slow on the bike but the kid inspires me like none other. he was baptized only a year ago. his faith shows and he has that yearning to learn more all the time. big respect for this guy .  this week I yearned for what President Nelson calls "spiritual momentum." UPDATE FROM BENSON

  hello everyone!  these last couple weeks have gone so quick! we had some really cool things happen! I share a few highlights below! - Barbara picked a baptismal date for may 27th!  - we found 3 new friends last week! - we went to Sierra Vista to play frisbee  - we went to the Kartchner caverns - our youth put their mission papers in! - we had a huge service for one our friends named Joe and our whole youth came - we went fishing again - it's getting hotttt again but I'm in a car so that's a w anyways those are some cool things that are happening. nothing too crazy right now. it's already the last week of the transfer . I had a real moment this last week where I realized that the mission is coming to a close fast and I need to work even harder than I am.  here's some cool scriptures!  "And so it is on the other hand.
